Subject: Unconventional Primary Campaign Opportunity (LIEBERMAN)

Republicans,

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. In June, I informed you all of a campaign opportunity for State Senator Tom Kean race for U.S. Senate in NJ. Continuing the tradition of letting you about summer campaign opportunities here is a much more unconventional option:

Incumbent Senator Joe Lieberman (Democratic Primary)
Lieberman is facing a tough primary fight versus far-left anti war activist Ned Lamont.
----------------------------------------------------------------
August 4-9th Primary Campaigning:

Elissa Harwood '09 (NOT A CLUB MEMBER) has organized a series of buses departing on Friday August 4 from Washington DC (6:30 Foggy Bottom Metro) and NYC, destination: Hartford, CT

People interested in campaigning for Lieberman in the Democratic Primary will have lodging accommodations paid for (by his campaign), as well as food and transportation.

Buses would bring you back on August 9th.

If Interested, E-mail: XXX@Princeton.EDU or call her
at (757)-XXX-XXXX.

Lieberman's campaign will be offerind lodging accommodations and food for College Republicans.

The man has no morals or soul left. I was out the door, have not eaten more than a piece of watermelon all day, and I had to post this up. It's 100 degrees, so eating isn't such a big deal, but this should be the final fucking straw.

This means two things: one, Lieberman cannot get Dems to work for him. He can't reach out to local Dem organizations to get people to do the heavy lifting, It's been 100 degrees in the lowland areas of Connecticut, so field work isn't much fun, but despite that, to call in the College Reactionaries? What the fuck?

They're not just Republicans, they're pro-war reactionaries. Why in God's name would a Democratic senator need their help? Who is stupid enough to ask for it? The spawing ground for Kar Rove and Grover Norquist? Please. Jack Abramoff's training ground?

I disagree with Lieberman on a lot of issues, but he's absolutely desperate and this is fucking sad to see in action. I am almost stunned to tears that he would be so shamefully desperate.

Lieberman has to go. There is no room for stupid any more. This is worse than the Greens taking money because the Greens don't have a clue. This, however, is beyond anything they've done, or Nader has done, and that's a big betrayal.
